Glasseco Close up
We're very excited about our new discovery. We have invented a way of recycling toughened glass, the type of glass used in car-windscreens. It looks sensational! Toughened glass shatters in large heavy chunks which have to be painstakingly placed piece-by-piece by hand into a mould before we can cover them with resin. BUT the polished result is breathtaking. Smashtastic in fact. And by changing the background resin colour we can create the most amazing results.

Unfortunately we have to charge for samples as this special mix takes so long to produce and our staff have sore fingers. Please send a cheque for £100, fully refundable against an order or on safe return of the sample. We bet you won't send it back! Payable to GLASSeco Limited, our address is on the contact page.

COMING SOON - we have just taken delivery of a skip load of exquisite granite and stone off-cuts from a very posh shop in Knightsbridge! Our "waste-not, want-not" motto will be tested to capacity as we wash it, crush it and recycle it ready for a second life. For anyone considering buying new granite worktops please read the BBC story on our links page about the human and environmental costs of mining the Earth's resources. We hope you'll agree our modern makeover of granite is far more sustainable and will feel a lot nicer in the heart of your home.

Watch this page for news of our latest finds and recyclable treasures. Crunched up car-gear boxes and Playstations are on the horizon.

Recycled black granite/grey slate is mixed with clear crushed glass. Our worktops look just as stunning as natural stone but no mining is involved. Delegates to Ecobuild 2009 examining the reprocessed material.
