Essential Kitchen and Bathroom magazine wrote a great four page article about GLASSeco. Amongst lots of other nice things they said ".. it is available in any number of colours, depending on the ratio of clear to coloured glass used and is made in an environmentally-conscious factory."

idFX included GLASSeco in its round-up of the latest eco products in its May edition. Use this link to open the style bible. They said "It is made using lowest possible energy output, ensuring the worktops have a tiny carbon footprint." http://viewer.zmags.com/showmag.php?mid=dggfs&pageid=40

We were stunned when top architects Foster + Partners included GLASSeco in its staff newsletter as a "highlight" of the Ecobuild show.

Press release: GLASSeco shines in Ecobuild's zero carbon house.

A zero carbon house - designed by Zedfactory - was unveiled at Ecobuild this week showcasing the very latest design features, sustainable materials and modern building techniques that are now making carbon neutral housing a reality.

Zedfactory's senior architect, Matthew Hoad, said: "Zedfactory was very pleased that GLASSeco provided recycled glass products for the RuralZED house as GLASSeco is both sustainable and has an excellent self-finish. The depth of colour from the polished crushed glass aggregate has a special character that demonstrates its recycled credentials in vivid colour. GLASSeco is a product which takes an ordinary waste material and elevates it into one of the most interesting finishes available".

GLASSeco's managing director, Bill Bradley, said: "We are only just beginning to think of all the different applications that GLASSeco could be used for. From roads and paths to Olympic stadiums, from kitchen worktops to wet-rooms, GLASSeco will re-direct literally millions of bottles from landfill into a truly sustainable surface solution."
