GLASSeco is made to measure. Each piece is individually moulded and hand-polished to the clients requirements - you can specify a high gloss or a matt finish.

We try and make our worktops in one piece but if this is not possible due to access issues we neatly resin or mastic bond the joints using either a clear or matching colour product.

Corners are gently rounded to give a smooth modern line but, of course, you can have them squarer if you prefer.

Drainer grooves - as many or as few as you want - are moulded in at the design stage so remember to tell us if you want integral drainage. If you prefer a gently sloping sluice just let us know when you order. Upstands add a final smart finishing touch. EDGES: If you are ordering worktops with large chunks of glass in the surface please bear in mind that the edges will only contain smaller size glass cullett, this is due to the weight of the glass and how it disperses whilst it is settling. Larger, heavier, pieces of glass will head towards the bottom of the mould - which is the top of your worktop when it is polished - while smaller pieces sit on top. This "sedimentary" process ensures a unique and interesting edge for every top. If you would like large pieces of glass to be visible around the edges simply advise the sales team when placing an order so we can adjust our "pouring" process. There is a cost-implication for this additional work.

GLASSeco is produced using a mix of recycled glass. Due to the recycling process, you may sometimes see small amounts of other coloured glass and specs of rogue materials in the finished surface. These small and quirky additions add character and prove the provenance of recycled worktops. Feedback from customers - and their children - who love their "extras" is great so do please let us know if you get a lucky spot.
